Offset Printing

Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a blanket, then to paper. The benefit of offset printing is that it will give you the highest print quality available. CMYK or Pantone inks are used, not toner, so the end result is clean, sharp and consistent from sheet to sheet. There is a huge variety of paper and substrates available for offset printing, from coated and uncoated to plastic and chipboard, up to 32pt.

Our state-of-the-art presses can accommodate large and small-format printing. The Komori Lithrone LSX 29 prints up to 5-colors plus aqueous coating with a maximum sheet size of 24×29.875. The Lithrone can handle full coverage on uncoated and coated sheets with a variety of aqueous coating options— gloss, high gloss, satin and soft touch.

The Komori Sprint can perfect 1/1 printing or 2/0 in one pass. The maximum sheet size is 20×28.

The Ryobi 3302 is a small-format press that prints up to 2-colors with a maximum sheet size of 13×17.75. The Ryobi press is used for short-run custom printing for business cards, letterhead and envelopes.

Digital Printing

HP Indigo digital printing delivers the best quality digital printing in the industry. HP Indigo’s liquid electrophotography (LEP) technology is the only variable imaging printing technology that can equal or exceed the quality of conventional offset printing. The accurate placement on the substrate of tiny dots with well-defined edges and almost no background contamination enables HP Indigo LEP to achieve exceptional print quality.
The use of ink and not toner is what sets the Indigo apart from all the other digital presses. Running uncoated paper stock through most digital press will look shiny and like it’s been coated. That will not happen on an Indigo. Because the Indigo uses ink and not toner, we can run uncoated sheets through the press and there will be no shine.
HP Indigo supports the widest-in-class substrate range including paperboard, synthetics, label stock and plastic. Uncoated stock ranges from 40# text up to 120# cover. Coated stock ranges from 55# text up to 120# cover.
All stocks used on the Indigo should be HP certified – meaning that the surface chemistry of the stock is compatible to HP Indigo ElectronInk. Using non-certified stock could result in poor ink adhesion.
Only one formulation of HP Indigo ElectroInk is needed to print on any compatible substrate which allows for rapid switching between substrates.
The maximum sheet size is 13 x 19 with a maximum image area of 12.12 x 17.7.
