Die cutting is a great way to completely customize your design and stand out from the crowd.
We recently did a job for one of our customers that was super cute and creative. The project was an invite to a B’not Mitzvah – which consisted of printing CMYK on 130# uncoated cover with a custom die cut.
After the sheets are printed and have dried, the finishing can start. The cutting die is mounted to the Kluge press and the sheets are loaded.
As the sheets come off press, we need to strip them. Stripping simply means, the process of gently separating the die cut portion from the press sheet.
When the stripping is done, we have a stack of invites to hand fold.
The invites are hand folded and shipped to the customer.
Here are some other fun ways to incorporate die cutting into your design.
