As the printing industry has evolved, so do our custom CT printing products and services. We continue to add new printing services to meet our customers needs.
Here’s a quick overview of some of the specialty printing services that we offer.
Edge coloring and Gilding are super popular at the moment. Edge coloring involves painting the edge of the sheet with ink and edge gilding is the same idea but uses foil instead of ink. The production process is so top secret that we will never reveal how it’s done! Edge coloring/gilding add an extra pop of color to invites and business cards.
Engraving is considered the finest form of printing. Engraving will look and feel raised.
Foil Stamping or hot stamping uses a heated die to transfer foil to paper. A rainbow of foil colors are available in gloss or matte.
Gluing – Another big trend that we are seeing right now is for super thick invites. We take 2 cover sheets and glue them together to create an extra thick card.
Letterpress printing is very trendy right now. It’s a popular choice for wedding invitations. Choose a nice thick cotton stock to give a deep impression.
Packaging. The options are endless with custom packaging. Cigar boxes, product packaging – we can do it all.
Crash numbering is used on carbonless material to consecutively number each sheet in the set.
Pocket folders. We can print, die cut and glue all in-house. The standard size for a pocket folder is 9×12 with a 4″ pocket. If your design falls into the parameters of a standard folder, you can save money by using one of our house dies. We can also produce custom folders with various pocket sizes and gussets.
Custom envelopes. Pick your stock, size and flap style. The sample below was printed with a full bleed and then press sheets were converted to make an A7 envelope.
